PSALMS — 2nd BOOK
The second book of psalms illustrated by the technique of etching. The book contains original prints and is bounded by a japanese bookbinding technique.
Druhá kniha žlamů ilustrovaná technikou čárového leptu. Kniha obsahuje originální tisky a je svázaná jednou z tradičních japonských vazeb.
PSALMS — 1st & 4th BOOK
Two books of psalms, no. 1 and no. 4, from the serie, which will in the end consist of five books in total. Each book is illustrated by a different technique, which I chose to correspond well with the text within each part. For the first one I chose a document ink, with wich I worked similarly as with aquarelle. For the second book I chose technique cliche verre. I used oil coloures with which I paited on a glass tables and than I used them in place of the negative film and I developed the motives on a photographic paper (in traditional wet procedure).
Dvě knihy žalmů, díl 1. a díl 4., ze série, která bude obsahovat celkem pět částí. Každá z knih je ilustrována jinou technikou, kterou jsem vybírala tak, aby co nejlépe odpovídala textům daného dílu. Pro první knihu jsem zvolila dokumentní inkoust, se kterým jsem pracovala podobně jako s akvarely. Pro druhou knihu jsem zvolila techniku cliche verre. Olejovými barvami jsem malovala na skleněné tabulky, které jsem následně užila jako negativ a motivy jsem vyvolala na fotografický papír (tradiční mokrou cestou).
